Graffiti is believed to date back thousands of years, reaching as far as cave walls. The word “graffiti” comes from the Greek verb graphein (to write) and the Italian word sgraffio (to scratch).
Tunç “TURBO” Dindaş is one of the early representatives of graffiti culture in Turkey and a name deeply connected to hip-hop culture.

He is the person who brought together the artists for Turkey’s first compilation hip hop album “Yeraltı Operasyonu.” The album features artists such as Nefret, Statik, Yener…
His work stands at the intersection of street art and music culture.
Turbo first began graffitiing illegally, later becoming involved in international advertising campaigns and projects, leaving his mark with visionary and high-quality work.
